"For the past six months, Alysen has cared for our two boys, ages four and one, and we cannot say enough about the impact she has had on our family. Balancing the needs and schedules of children at such different developmental stages is no small task, yet Alysen does so with ease, patience, and intention. She ensures that each child receives individualized attention while maintaining a loving, structured environment.

“The day Alysen told me she was moving to TN and no longer would be my son's nanny, was one of my most devastating days. Not just because she was my source of childcare and I’m a working mom, but because of how deeply she loves my son. And me for that matter. I’ve now gone through all stages of grief. I was angry at the universe for allowing this to happen, I was in denial that she’d really leave. I thought I should convince her not to go until I was done having kids, I was devastated and cried in bed, I accepted it and was so happy she could go and open her business.
Alysen was the only nanny we interviewed. We spoke with her, and it was clear she was the right person for us. She had experience, a curriculum, and was aligned in our beliefs. When my friends ask how I’m so calm about leaving my baby with someone else, I shrug and say “Alysen is an extension of my family now, I have nothing to worry about”.
Quickly, my son picked up on it too. He lights up when he sees Alysen, came home well mannered, with an affinity to learn and sing, and dance. He learned to be social, trusting, and caring.
If you have kids, specifically if you carried and gave birth, you might know how lonely and challenging it is to be a parent with a newborn or even a 6 month old. My husband and I moved to our home 2 weeks before giving birth and we knew no one. Our families live an hour + away and therefore making my village smaller. Alysen was the first person to enter my village. She understood any and all of my anxieties, made me feel so comfortable, and from the moment we arrived in her home to meet her in person, she grabbed the attention of my son as if she had done it a hundred times. I felt less lonely, and my son gained another adult he could lean on, learn from, and trust.

Having someone care for your children can be nerve-wracking but Alysen is responsible and always put the safety and well-being of my children first. I never questioned the fact that my kids were safe and happy in her care. My children are absolutely crazy about her. Not only did she home school my children during Covid, and tutor them during the summer months, she cooked for, played, and bathed my children. She played educational games with them and was always eager to take them out to the park, etc. Alysen is amazing at what she does and she would be an asset to any family she worked with.”
